The NBA has secured its first two participants for the 2026 Slam Dunk Contest.
Los Angeles Lakers centre Jaxson Hayes and San Antonio Spurs rookie Carter Bryant have reportedly agreed to compete, ESPN’s Shams Charania announced Thursday.
The news comes just days after three-time reigning champion Mac McClung confirmed he will not be defending his title.
The contest will take place Feb. 14, at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. The event typically features four participants, leaving two spots still to be filled.
